Go Bears!!

Well!!!! I am definitely a fair weather fan for the Chicago Bears! I am happy they won yesterday...on our way to the Superbowl. (I only like the Chicago teams when they are winning). I remember when they won the last time and had the song the Superbowl Shuffle in 1985, I was five...I only remember bits and pieces of that time. I like the game of football, I used to wish I could play...when I was young.

Saturday we (some of the young people) went to visit Sis. Florence Jones (who has been sick for some months). It was such a blessing!! Afterward we went downtown Chicago to ice skate at Millennium Park...we really had a good time!

Last night after YP service some of us sisters went out to eat and had another great stimulating conversation...we really had a good time.

CONGRATULATIONS CLARE BEAR!!

Jan 13th - I would like to congratulate Clare on her graduation from University of Saint Francis (also my alumnus) with her Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education. She graduated CUM LAUDE too!! I am SOOO happy for you Clare!! Major congrats! I know it was difficult as school usually is...but you made it, you've got it, GO GIRL!!

Welcome to the working world with the rest of us working girls!

We had a good time at her graduation party on Saturday...good games and food!! We ended the night with a VERY "spirited" conversation on the youth in America and the prison system...it was very good conversation. It reminded me how intense, animated and energetic I get when trying to express myself about something I feel very strongly about (which is probably why I don't do it much and stay quiet). Sometimes when this happens I think I come across like I am displeased or angry, but I am not...I have to be careful in the future.

This was supposed to be with the original post title...but the connection messed up again...so here is the rest.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Happy New Year Everyone! Hope 2007 brings in wonderful, new blessings from God.

I am so behind in updating my blog! I had a wonderful time at MC fellowship! It was really a blessing! The messages were just wanted I needed to hear and the fellowship was GREAT!! Thanks to Leah for letting me stay at her house...Lotsa love to you girl and the rest of your family for their wonderful hospitality!!

When I got up Tuesday morning for work, I was sick...ughhh. But I still had to go to work because there would be no one to do payroll and I definitely wanted to get paid!! So I went to work did payroll and then went home...I stayed home Wednesday to try to recuperate. I don't get sick a lot at all, I can probably count on my hands the number of times I have gotten sick enough to stay home in the past 10 years. God has been good!! My dad's side of the family I think has a very strong immune system, we (my dad and I) rarely get sick.

Then life just started getting busy...

Ughhh~

So I was in the middle of updating my blog with a nice big post (with pictures) when the internet connection failed...why does it do that? So it was all lost.

Well I will start again...
