My sister went back to Phoenix yesterday (Saturday). I will miss her, it was nice seeing her for three days. Hopefully I will get down there to visit her soon.

Pastor preached a on time message today it was great! "The Secret of Victory is in Our Praise" (or "But, Rejoice") Give God thanks and praise for all things, some trials we are still in because we haven't truly thanked Him for them.

I am not doing the greatest (recently) keeping up with blogging once a day...but I do try to make it up when I blog again...(if you haven't noticed)

I assure you that if you delight in any work of God or in any organization or movement, discouragement will sooner or later catch up with you. Our God is a jealous God, and He will not share His glory with an organization or a personality or a movement, however spiritual. - George Verwer, from Come! Live! Die!

The Scripture was, "Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will do this" (Psalm 37:5). The author of Streams in the Desert says that "The literal meaning of this verse is “Roll your way onto Jehovah and trust upon Him, and He works. - unknown

Over time I would realize that I thought I deserved to be blessed because I had tried to honor my parents and keep the principles of God’s word. Rather on the fact that I am His child and he looks in the recesses of our heart not on the outward behavior. - YLCF

On waiting on God:
I think the answer is in truly trusting God and waiting on Him. By waiting, I do not mean passively doing nothing, but rather actively praying, seeking God's direction and wisdom and stepping out in faith wherever He seems to be leading. - YLCF
