Perception - Think About it...

True Story

A man at a metro station in Washington started to play violin;

He played for about 45 minutes.

During that time, thousands of people went by.

A man stopped for a while and moved on.

The violinist received his first dollar tip:

A woman threw coins and walked away.

The most attention was paid by a 3 year old boy.

His mother pushed hard and the boy had to walk away.

This was repeated by several other children.

In the 45 minutes only 6 people stopped .

He collected $32. When he finished , no one noticed .

No one applauded, nor was there any recognition.

No one knew that the violinist was Joshua Bell, the best violinist in the
world.

He played with a violin worth $ 3.5 million .

Two days before , Joshua Bell sold out at a theater in Boston and the seats
average $100.

He got a standing ovation.

Joshua Bell playing incognito was organized by Washington Post as part of
an experiment about perception, taste and priorities of people.

Conclusions from this experience was:
If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians
in the world, how many other things are we missing?

Just a Thought...

I would like to start out this blog by saying..."For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified" - I Corinthians 2:2

I am not putting the below link to induce any negative posts or responses.

I understand that there are at least 2 things I cannot(nor anyone else in this world)do:
1. Convince any that they can live a life free from sin or that Jesus is Lord.
2. Change anyone's political views
The only one who can do this is God himself.

I would also like to say I love ALL the saints and I hope this will NOT change anyone's love toward me...

This link is something that all christians should consider...

God is working - Elmira, NY

God is working
He's still working
God is working even now
though we often don't know just how
He's still working
He's still working
God is working even now

Hallelujah, he's working even now
Hallelujah, he's working even now

See how God is working here!
