Fiery Darts
We shall not be wounded in the hottest fight, if we raise the sheild of faith in Jesus might, through the grace of God we'll conquer to the last...while the fiery darts are flying thick and fast! COG Evening Light - p.174

Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand. Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee. But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
Please pray for me...I am in one of the most challenging trials of my salvation.

I've been missing you.
I got encouragement reading an exercise book one time. The instructions were given: To increase strength and endurance, continue doing the exercise until you feel like you can do NO MORE, then DO MORE...just a little more. That's how endurance and strength is built.
I could very easily relate that to times in my spiritual life when I thought I just could not go on any further, but God did not deliver right then. He took me "a little" further. He knew how to build strength and endurance before the exercise books ever came along.
I will pray for you.
hey, elizabeth. you're in my prayers. i love you lots, and LOTS! you are such a blessing and inspiration. God has something beautfiul planned for you, we just have to reach it. I say "we" b/c i hope my and others' prayers carry you to that place. "he has made everything beautiful in his time." "truly, God is good to Isreal." luv ya, babe. ;)

I think it would be a source of encouragement to you to read it also.
We never realize that just staying saved is a HUGE encouragement to the saints.
Just seeing you staying saved year after year thrills my soul- even though I hardly know you!
There is great encouragement to be found in this trial. You are staying saved through one of the hardest trails of your salvation. Even though the devil has brought his 'A' game he has not been able to take you down..."Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus..." Be encouraged, it is evident by these comments that the Saint's care for you and are praying for you. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. If God be for you, who or what can be against you?
